There are many factors that will guide the selection of an electric guitar and every factor of your selection of guitars available for you to buy into the market impact.
Perhaps one of the first things to consider if you are looking for a famous brand, such as a Fender electric guitar, an Ibanez electric guitar, a Gibson guitar or you can not have a Preference about the brand of guitar you are looking to buy.
You must then consider whether you want an acoustic guitar. Once you decipher that even if you select a guitar maker, the following list of factors to consider.
Body Style
There are three basic body styles electric guitar – solid, semisolid Semi Hollow / or hollow body.
Guitar Body Shape

Scale Length
The scale of the impact sound quality of the notes and the string tension at a certain pitch. The scale is determined by the distance between the bridge saddle and the intended mother. There are generally two common scale lengths to choose from – the scale and Gibson Fender scale. There is a third level as well, which uses Paul Reed Smith and others that will produce a different sound from the two common scale lengths.
Intonation
Intonation is the term used to describe when the notes in the melody you move the neck of the guitar. Intonation can be influenced by various factors such as playing. Can press harder on the strings of a bow, and this in time can affect intonation guitar.
Set neck / neck on Bolt
The choice between these two possibilities can be less of the instrument you leave – Stratocaster electric guitars are bolt on neck, while the Gibson Les Paul is a set neck.
Number of Frets
Most electric guitars have 22 frets, but you can choose a 24 fret and the octave to you further.
