Should I keep playing the guitar or switch to low?

I've been playing guitar for about 2 years and really have nothing to show. For i alone press notes and tried to lose badly and can not string palm muting the strings correctly I'm not playing horrible sounds while playing other notes. I do not know where are the notes on the fretboard and I know just how to play minor pentatonic scales. I'm below average ability to play guitar for 2 years? I seriously thinking of switching to low, and that is what we first wanted to play but my dad made me play guitar.

Hello, play bass playing as hard as guitar. You have to know everything that you mentioned and more. If you can not learn the fretboard of a guitar, why do you think they will learn the fingerboard a low? If you hit bad on the guitar strings, why wait to change when you switch to the bass? Will switching to bass, magically make you learn all other modes and scales? I think we still palm mute on the bass, as in the guitar. Some people are naturally talented. The rest of us have to work hard. It is a matter of how much practical as it is a matter of what you practice. I doubt that change is going to change your skill level. Change how practice probably will do more for your skill level. All that being said, if you really wanted to play guitar and has not developed a love for her, never able to develop their skills. You must love to play the instrument for improvement. Perhaps the change to be made under help in that regard. If you really love bass, you can change the way we practice may be motivated to learn all those techniques that did not learn on guitar (and all that it should also be a mediocre bass player. To be very good, is required much more than that. No matter what instrument you play, you have to really love being motivated to be good at playing.
