Should I take the electric guitar or bass?
The bears seem to be more rare, so it seems it would be easier to find a place in a band after playing a couple of years. Bass does not seem too difficult to learn well. Guitarists are everywhere, so I think it would be a increasingly difficult time to join the band, even after years of practice, because I can not sing. While the guitar seems to be a fun- a single person, that is what he was doing for the next years. Also I have access to a lot of guitar instruction / lessons, but none of bass. I have about $ 200 to spend on a guitar or bass starter kit (with amp, case, cable, strap, tuner and all). Bass is easier than the guitar, except for me, because the strings are too thick for my small fingers. Knowing the guitar helps a lot with the low, almost to the point that if you can play the guitar, you can play bass. The strings are the same tuning. Of course, if you want to play the low blow or something, that's different. Ultimately, it helps to know how to play guitar, if you are in music from an instrument widely used. Even if you are not sold as a guitarist.
