Classical Guitar Instructional Books

It's classical guitar technique to learn a good basis for jazz?
I am novice player. I bought a jazz guitar instruction book. I'm practicing arpeggios and just copy some chords without even knowing what notes I'm playing most of the time, I'm totally confused. not really where I started. I am looking to buy a classical guitar instruction book. serve as the best way to learn some jazz? by the way I used to play the violin a little. on everything is reproduced on a scale and the fingerings are fixed, not the guitar that is all over the place. violin was easier to remember than note that I'm pressing, because there are rules on how press releases. like when you press the little finger, which is supposed to press your index, middle, ring finger. so I was thinking maybe you should first learn classical pieces for me to know the guitar as an instrument. do that for a year then maybe learn the theory and techniques jazz. Any advice is welcome. thanks.
First, before learning style (classical, jazz, blues, etc.) That should learn the basics. I was in the same dilemma that two years ago. What I did was to learn all my notes. I memorized every note played and every scale. Learn so if you want to play to a high G, you can see where staff would be written on and know exactly where on the fretboard. Then I found out my notes. I learned chords. This takes time. What worked best for me was to learn a chord a week. (I like to learn major, minor, augmented, diminished, and 7 of the rope) Later in the week Next, I would like to review in accordance with the teachings above, then proceed to learn new ones. Now, to the original question, the classical learning jazz before. " My opinion is that playing a classic style definitely helps in learning the jazz style. Music has influences of Beethoven, Bach, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, etc. If you get embedded in the back of his mind, in my opinion, combined with the way we listen to music and how you feel the music and in ultimately will help to create the unique sound that is YOU. Remember, the fundamentals are everything! Good luck in learning!
