Acoustic guitar: Have fingers make short guitar playing really hard?
I'm Asian, and my fingers are quite short compared to others. My Middle finger is 8.5 cm max (I'm 15 years old and female). I play classical guitar for about 4-5 months now, and moved my finger around on the guitar fretboard or making them stay in the position of a chord can be hard. I have seen people with their thumb to push video on the low E string when playing chords and I find it very painful to do, especially my thumb is pretty short. as you can still play the guitar really well with short fingers, or is it something of a setback: EDIT If I have something to play with the thumb on the low E string, I was referring when you are playing a complicated chord, which is usually with the thumb in this case, the best option need.
dont use your thumb for the low E string, then to maintain order around your palm and fingers all the way without accidental Mute the high strings. Place your thumb in the middle of the neck, even with the middle finger. This will be a lot more freedom with the other fingers.
