A Question for guitar players?
I was looking information about Jimmy Herring, guitarist and found widespread panic with this note on his favorite guitar: Jimmy "Go to" the guitar is a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster built by Gene Baker in 1993. Unlike most Fender guitar is equipped with two humbuckers instead of 3 single coil pickups, and has Dunlop 6000 frets (the highest guitar frets are made). Question What is a fret wire and what they mean by "most"? Do you give the guitar a more acute?
Dunlop 6000 are about 0,115 ", Which is great. This allows you to make the correct note without forcing the chain as far to the fret board. With the kind of dishes as small crop in my Standard Tele your finger is touching the fret board so when you bend or vibrato there is some friction between the fret board and finger holding you back a bit, with high finger frets is actually kind of float above the fret board and can bend and vibrato faster and with less effort.
