Trouble finding a band to play with …
Well I'm 14yrs old and have to take classes since I was 5 years. Play electric guitar and acoustics. I'm ready to start a band, but the only problem is I do not know anyone else who plays an instrument, along with my brothers. During 2or3 few months I've been recording on my own with just a drum machine and I'm frustrated to have to do it myself. I've asked my three brothers if I wanted to start something, but all said no because I wanted to do his own thing. Does anyone know how a homeschooled teenager could find a band when he is the only musician at all the neighborhood. Thanks to everyone who answers! Oh, I can play at my church, but all musicians are much more than me.
in the first instance, let's say I'm very jealous of his guitar skills. very, very jealous. seconds, I'm homeschooled and a music lover too! so yay ahahah things in common. now, do not always go to any local shows? I really should start getting involved with the music scene in your area if not already, is one of the best places to find people with similar interests to you if you just hit the right places for coffee. Also, hanging around the hot spots as the theme, border, shops, record stores, Best Buy in the sections of music, guitar workshops, etc. are great places to run in people with the same interests as you. basically anywhere "hipster" cold type or music or the instruments are sold (other places designated as Wal-Mart), you'll find someone likely to play an instrument or know someone who does and who would be willing to start jamming with you -. and if all else fails join a group class for guitar (Although probably more or less what we already know ahahha) or some other instrument that is not very interested. No doubt you can make jam fast friends there;. musicians at the age of our group who are willing to jam are everywhere, just go where the music is) good luck dear!
