How do I keep my nerves on stage in front of the whole school?
Hey, so what we have in the school have a house music competition, and I'm lead guitar for our modern ensemble. I am quite concerned that I get nervous on stage, if it is going around, and that is a problem, because when I nervously I can not string-hop, and my solos include a lot of it. We also make a fairly well-known rock song [When You Were Young by The Killers] and so when I go wrong, anyone know! I am really worried that I freeze on stage and just fail. Also I would like to look good in front of my school because I used to only electric guitar Players have. I'm on my own and mad with my class, but I just do not know if I have to be on stage in front of the school is ok (Any help would be great.:
Do not look at the audience. I have many players who never play their instruments the whole time she saw, people think that they are so into the music, but in reality many of them have terrible stage fright and only with respect to all those people freaks them out. Number two: Practice, practice, practice, so that you can on autopilot during the performance be. If you know something very well, just think of it as a jam session with your friends. Third, you have to let you make a few mistakes happen, and if you already know, they are ahead of time to unravel rather than on the stage, if one lead a river or hear something. Most people in the audience, (I learned) not to notice, if you remain cool and stable. The average student is not made musically, they are caught in the moment, they hear a combination of instruments, drums, bass etc and not specifically focused on only one thing. Everything will be fine. Only as much relaxation as you can and have fun! After all, that the point is, right?
