First electric guitar?

Hi, I have been playing an acoustic Alvarez Rd20U some time I would say that nine months or so. I classes once a week so I have some experience with game theory. I just want to know what a good electric guitar about 200-250 U.S. dollar price range $? I've been looking online and found some for less than 200 .. Epiphone Les Paul Special II Dean Vendetta might be able to get away with a used Mexico's Top Fender (although unlikely) that all play contemporary, alternative, soft rock .. Help?

All of these Start, Les Paul, and Dean) sound (As good options. But you never know until you try it, so I encourage to go to your local guitar shop and try out guitars around and see what fits you best. Remember, the guitar picks you up. So there will be one that is special to you, and it seems to only be perfect for you.
