What electric guitar to buy? Been playing for about 6 months?

I have an electric defense starcaster bad amplifier comes in an economical package for like $ 200 from BestBuy. I'm not sure whether to buy a guitar from 200 to $ 400 now and receive a $ 1000 + when I get well, or get a decent $ 600-800 for now. Seeking ESP, PRS, Ephiphone / Les Paul / Gibson, or perhaps a Fender Ibanez or if there is outstanding.

It all depends on whether you know the differences among the most expensive, and good … and if you know how to buy used equipment. I bought a 80 Fender MIJ Start, which are becoming very popular. Ibanez RG are good, but often need different pills kick in. .. but there is not much difference between $ 400 to $ 800 models …. except electronics, which can be changed at a later time. suggest the most expensive real test and compare. See if you can point to any difference in sensation sound (without the amp on) the weight distribution, and crafts. If not, get the cheapest. If you can, then get the guitar you really want. If you play a wide variety of music, buy a Fender with single coils, and a guitar that you like with humbuckers. Always good to have to different styles of guitars …. and do what I did find a used Fender is in good condition. Over the 80 Japanese made Strats can still find good prices, and are highly regarded as well built. I think it's as from 1983 to 1992 … but you can do a little investigation. If you buy a cheap guitar for 400 dollars are not satisfied with it, then you just finished saving for a face and feel you are losing money. I tell you. Nice cables (Very important) $ 400 to connect all this shit up + money for maintenance and repairs, and new tubes for the amplifier, and various things such as guitar cases, ropes, straps, etc … Now, I have all this because playing live with a band, so I have a main amplifier, amplifier, Backup, practice amp, three power so you can play different genres, and a ton of trash from the effects. I did it to show how expensive the guitar can be. I mentioned before I've probably spent $ 15,000 total in recent years, which probably means I lost twice the amount of money trying to find used products, thinking about the differences between a solid state amp $ 500 is not worth spending $ 2200 for an amp and cabs it would be penalty, but after playing long enough, and if you are serious enough, eventually will be able to tell the difference in tone and quality.
