Electric guitar stop working?

The other day I bought a used electric guitar Memphis in a pawnshop. It is a copy of a MIM Fender Start. Everything worked when I bought it. i on my way home stopped at the Guitar Center and bought a new pick guard and new to Nobs him. When I got home I immediately changed the pick guard and Nobs, the electronic exchange of all the new pick guard. As soon as I was done I plugged it in, nothing. The electronics were not working. I know for a fact because I covered my Gibson and it worked well, not so the amplifier or cable. I took it apart and found a wire had come off, so the soldiers back, but still nothing. Then I went to a local music store told me outlet was connected backwards, I tried to change the wiring, but again nothing. I looked at the wiring diagrams and what I can say I have everything connected properly. So now I'm at a loss, please someone help me. For additional information please let me know.

Hey, Garrett! Electronics on a standard Stratocaster guitar style are very basic, so most likely simply not completing the circuit. Make sure that the mass signal (sleeve output jack) and the hot wire (with tip) has continuity throughout the circuit. Check each cable connection with a light, only make a solder connection is not loose or broken. If you have a multimeter or equivalent test device, check out each separate cable for continuity point about, otherwise, look closely for any signs of danger in the wiring. Place the kicker on the guitar, but not yet reassembled, plug the output jack to an amplifier to test before to final assembly (installing pickguard screws and ropes). With the control knobs turned all right, tap each pickup at the poles, the amplified sound heard in each of the pickup selector positions. Through these steps, the problem must be readily apparent.
