What is the toe-switch?
I'm semi-new to the jargon of the entire guitar. I've been playing guitar since I was 9 years (14 now) but now I'm trying to learn everything, and accessories for guitar, and the only ones who know the guitar, strap, amplifier, and bonnet, and foot-pedal/foot-switch or whatever. But what exactly does not the foot switch? And is there something else or "accessories" or whatever you call that I should know about guitar?
Hi there, the function depends on the amplifier. Some amplifiers use a foot switch to switch from one channel to another, usually a clean channel a channel unit. Some amplifiers also use a foot switch to activate / deactivate the reverb (or some other effect.) Mulitiple amplifiers Built in the effects of using the pedal with several buttons to activate or deactivate the effects of several. Line 6 has a complex pedal (FBV Shortboard) with a volume pedal, wah wah, tuner, channel switching built into several models. The foot switch in its simplest form that allows you to change something in the amp without walking to the amplifier and turning a knob or flipping a switch. You can do this from a distance of hands-free (foot). Most pedals do not do anything that you can not do without it. Only a most convenient way to do it. Line 6 however, is different. Can not get more than 4 models without Shortboard. Other amplifiers can be modeled similar to Line 6. Later
