Introduction to Blues Guitar
I love the sound of acoustic blues guitar, there is nothing like guitar. Acoustic Blues Music is a unique genre in itself. His "unique sound sets it apart from other guitar and believe it, it's on for any beginner even double them unravel the basic techniques required easy to produce sound to the distinctive character of acoustic blues guitar. Here are a few important Techniques that may at any beginners with current practice and patience start to reach their travel blues guitar.
The foundation of the blues
The foundation of the blues guitar is the 12 bar blues. This consists of three lines with four bars or 12 bars, and the I, IV and V chord progression often with the seventh, for example, fell when the key is C, the other two chords F and G, where C chord I, F and G-IV chord chord V. This is worked out are as follows:
I = C
II = D
III = E
IV = F
V = G
VI = A
VII = B
So when the key in E was then would the following chords be used in the blues progression: I = E chord, chord IV = V = A and B chords
Some basics you should know

- As a beginner, you need to get soft, pliable
What They go to learn
- Two Simple power chords commonly used in Blues: E and A
- Simple jingle: DD DD DD DD DD (the 'D' will heat a down)
The two power chords
These two standard power chords, E and A widely used in rock guitar uses music, they are also with great effect in blues guitar music, especially if muting techniques are applied. These two chords are to start at the simplest chords. To form the E power chord place your first finger (index finger) on the second fret (technically between the first and second fret) on the A string and play the top two strings of the E-string and the A-string. Experiment with the placement of the first finger, try the first finger closer to the second fret and see if you are the better sound.
The A power chord is formed in a similar way, this time with the first finger on the third string or D string, second fret (again between the first and second fret) of the guitar. Strum or rather pick up the A-string and the D string. Experiment to get the placement of the first finger the best sound.
Add a simple Strum the power chords
The following jingle is very common in blues guitar music. It consists of a series of down-strokes that are played in pairs, four Sentences that make a bar, it looks like this:
DD DD DD DD
Try typing it like this: dah / dah-dah / dah-dah / dah-dah / dah or counting it like this: one/and- two / and – three / and – four / and. So now, the two power chords set to the strum of them starting with the E chord and the transition to the A chord after the count of four:
'E' power chord:
a / and
two / and
three / and
four / and
'A' Power Chord
a / and
two / and
three / and
four / and
Add two notes in the mix
Now we add two more references to the mixture to our playing some "Blues" Color: the notes are B and F sharp (sometimes written as F #). We will the B-note to the power E-chord and F to the A drive additional chord. To add the B note to the E power chord, we just drop the third finger (ring finger) for the fourth fret of the second String (the A string). First, we form the E power chord as described above with the first finger on the second fret, second string (the A string) then just drop the third finger down on the fourth fret – and we pull back only the top two strings. Do not remove the first finger.
To add the F # on the A Power Chord we are the A power chord with the first finger on the second fret, third string (the D string), then we drop the third finger on the fourth fret, third string. Delete not the first finger.
Now apply the above, this would jingle # starting with the E power chord and for moving to the A power chord and adding both the B and F notes:
E – a / and (two down strokes with the pick)
B – two / and
E – three / and
B – four / and
A – A / and
F # two / and
A – three / and
F # four / and
Strictly speaking, the E power chord consists of an E note and an A grade, while the A power chord consists of a A and E notes. Both pairs are plucked simultaneously. To add an authentic acoustic blues guitar sound you need, a muting technique to apply to the picking hand. This will be explained in a following article.
