Guitarist … I am a beginner and?

I want to start playing again. Like 5 or 6 years ago, I took lessons for 6 months, I have stopped. My teacher made me do just finger exercises all the time. So I gave up. I forgot everything and now I'm back to square one. I REALLY want to learn if … since I was young. Where do I start? I do not know how to read guitar tabs. I can not pay again for the lessons. PS I know there are online videos for beginners. but I've found that most of them only old men are talking about music. You do not help! If you can actually teach something, please let me know to find! Thanks.

It is bad to your teachers exercises are ok, but you need chords! If there is any way, you should find a teacher, that you can show a few chords at least 3 0r 4 hours, with the right teacher? Books and Vids a point are in order, but they can not just questions to answer, and that is probably what you need now
