Airbrush for beginners

Airbrush has always been a very attractive medium of art that I have been wanting to see for many. at 15 I think I have a lot of time to practice and excel in this. Does anyone know with any great websites or forums that I should look? or good books? and final goal is my artwork to airbrush on homemade guitars. If anyone has any experience in this and please, give me some tips! and I think in the end only ask for Tips … I really have no idea where to start what to do.

I think, 15 years old is a perfect age to get your first airbrush. When you were younger, You probably would not have enough respect for your equipment hold it properly. Dirty guns do not work very well. That being said, can. Get started you need an airbrush. Most beginners usually choose a siphon feed for their first weapon, and a lot of professionals proposing to do just that. Well, I am a professional, and I say, can skip this step of your learning process and get right to the good stuff. Get a good flow cup gun. Here's why. Siphon-feed require much higher working pressure, because they have to draw the color up. With gravity, you can get away with much less pressure. Lower Austria psi. equal more control and less spray. Gravity feeds are also much easier to clean and maintain. Do not get me wrong! There are some great people out there Work is performed with a siphon feed, but most custom painters prefer gravity. Siphon feed are mostly used by T-shirt painting. I know you want to not a T-shirt painting, because you said you do art. ha-ha! Now you need a compressor. Do not get suckered into buying one of those small compressors that are specifically made for airbrush. You suck. I do not why do they suck. Just trust me. Get a real compressor with a tank and a regulator with a moisture content Trap. The larger the tank, the better. I would also suggest installing the regulator and moisture trap to a wall where you will operate and maintain the compressor in another room. Just run a couple of 3 / 8 "hose from the compressor to the controller. This keeps your work area calm. I do special paint and occasionally want to learn guitar, a. I actually just finished it a few weeks. The best advice I can give you is this. Art is art no matter what you do on the surface. The key to a good paint job is prep and finish. It does not matter how good the graphics are, if the surface suction. Most guitars today are painted with car paint.
