Practice how you play

It's nice, but the stuff ehhhhhhh know ….. It can be boring.

Go to concerts

Nothing's more inspiring then go to a concert and someone to rock the stage and totally impressed the audience. I remember a few years ago, I went to Vans Warped Tour. Immediately after the show as soon as I got home I ran to allocate to my room and tried to learn the songs I had heard. When I saw the Eagles in October of 06 ', I could not stop learning all their songs. It is amazing to be extremely enthusiastic and play guitar again and definitely rejuvenated my interest in guitar concerts play motivated.

Buy concert DVDs

ACDC If you never had a music video or concert DVD seen …. then we need to speak definitely. Angus Young is a amazing guitar player and it is just amazing to see that play this arid Australian guy can like he does and with such an attitude and spirit. Here are some instant inspiration …. Go to Yahoo or Google and click on the "Video" tab above the search box and type in everything related to guitar solos to do. Try tab out songs by ear

This is very helpful. Tabbing songs by ear develops your musical ear very quickly. Take a college course music (Beatles, The History of Rock and Roll)

While I was getting community college for two years studying for my Associates Degree, I had a "history of rock & roll course accepted. This course was very interesting. It was so much music that this class opened my eyes. I gained so much more appreciation for the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who and many other bands of that time. These bands really change music forever. I definitely recommend a class like this anywhere, it will definitely open Your eyes you get some great music out there and help you grow as a musician.

Some musicians out there have led incredible lives. Most of them come out of nowhere, and at the end, have become legendary guitar gods. Check out Johnny Cash; He was a Country boy who grew up nearly destitute rural and turned into an amazing musician by inspiration and practice. There are so many interesting stories behind bands and Musicians. Here's a few that I find interesting (from the top of my head): The Beach Boys, Def Leppard, Metallica, Van Halen, The Beatles, Thin Lizzy. Do some research online and try to deal with levels of these artists. It will play you a whole new thought processes, their songs and guitar in general.

"Steal" riffs and ideas from other guitarists

I know it sounds bad, but everyone does it great guitarist. Clapton had the "Cross Road Blues" by Robert Johnson the Beatles and some of Elvis' ideas and expanded them. Play against other

This is one of the hardest parts about performing of music. Playing in front of others is something that just takes time. Remember to relax and not think about each watch. Just to focus on you and the instrument. The more you play against other, the better you will get. Everyone's first time playing in front of others can be pretty good tear. Remember that it is easier and each Time that you get through it quite well. What you can do is to videotape yourself playing and then put it on the web. Here you will find Lessons, the people for songs, tips and tricks and pretty much everything you get on the right foot when it is required to play guitar. The great thing guitar lessons on Youtube is that "to get it the point". No BS. Each lesson is usually less than 5 minutes and they give you great information very quickly, because who wants a 30-minute video to see. Guitarist attention span not so long, I know I is not. And finally you have the internet. The Internet has absolutely everything what you could ever need, including Youtube.com could, teaching, information, ultimate-guitar.com (for tabs), guitars101.com (for any other kind of help you need) etc. The possibilities are endless. The point is that learning guitar is today and should be as simple as learning the guitar to be in the past because of the large resources we have.

You can learn every riff of every song, no matter how crazy or how fast …. only slow down

The guitar is fun, you see improvements (eg Quick results). I remember trying to songs which were played at my level when I first started playing guitar. Things like: The Animals – House of the Rising Sun, and Don McLean – American Pie. I could play it ok, but they were not really songs that I started to play guitar had. I wanted to play Metallica on Black and Eric Clapton's Crossroads fade. I have the other two songs aside and began work on the new ones that had inspired me to play guitar. I had spent weeks and months on it, although it is outside my skill level were. I was determined to get to them. I kind of wanted one of those guys who do not play anything can be anything, just cover songs note for note. If I could not play any other song other than the super-hard note for note, I would be happy. So I spent so much time learning these songs, and I have been able to play …. ok … not great …. However, when I went back to play House of the Rising Sun and American Pie, I was able to play 100 times better. I played like a pro. His way like …. as long as you challenge yourself, you will be better. They play with musicians that are better than you … You get better. Lift more weight than to be used … You stronger be.

A great musician once said that as soon as the guitar is a chore and makes not fun, that the moment that you should put your guitar. back to it later. Now this doensn't mean that if your first guitar learn and you get frustrated, you should put it down and forgotten. Sorry, this rule only applies to guitar players, advanced or have already played for a while. It sucks and is frustrating for all at first, so you have to stick with him. The general point is, should be fun to play guitar. Do not turn into a chore or a task.
