How do I get to teach me to play guitar?

Hi, So I have learned that playing the guitar, I tried teaching, itself, got to few basic chords and I could just one to do but I was not sure what to do as, next to so I gave one to. Anyway, a few years later, have I decided to try it again and I will start all over again. My question is what do I need to learn? I'm thinking of learning chords first, but then what do I do? My goal is to play any jazz, but I understand that I need to at least learn the basics before progressing to jazz. I can not afford a teacher, Internet or otherwise. I plan of pounds but I borrowed one learned well for me in advanced I did not understand what it was referring to. Another book I was hired for a novice who was not as helpful as I had suspected, and how to keep strumming a guitar. If I was buying a book you know what type of content it should have? I'm self-taught. I play a lot of jazz (and every other kind of music I pointed to). Do not be intimidated. Who is it that believe that all the jazz greats taught how to play jazz? Who taught Django Reinhardt? Who taught Miles Davis? Louis Armstrong? Where exactly was this formal Teaching? Here is how I did it. YMMV First off, you get a guitar buddy, someone who is more than you, that you hang with jam and white. Find a drummer the marmalade and jam like him. Complete improvisation. You do not even know this is a song have to do. Learn to read sheet music. Get a song book with many songs, you would like to play. Learn songs from that book. In the meantime, you will learn other songs from your friends. And your ear a bit better, and you are the Start learning songs and riffs of recorded material. Some things happen by accident. One day I was playing there, and I have something, and I thought, "I know that! "It was part of the" Mood for a Day ", the part with the slides. I just took the part to the air, I went and found the whole thing. Learn all can. Learn from someone you can. Keep learning. Keep hearing different things.
