Not the same group. LAGQ plays the classical guitar (string nylong) and are based on classical music, but have diversified well, mainly due to the influence of Andrew York. The CA Guitar Trio plays guitar with steel strings, and is much more adventurous in the field of integration pop music and jazz with his own arrangements. Both groups are pending. Andrew York saw the premiere of Primal Twang in San Diego last fall. He really is an artist surprising. Beware the DVD of this – they should leave within a month or so. I understand that Andrew has since left the LAGQ.
