Guitar improvisation?
I'm learning guitar (not had lessons), was using Online Guides / Videos and friends. I tried to start improvisation, but was just wondering. for me it sounds fine with a Jam. but after I take it, it sounds like crap. Is this normal? I guess it sounds good to track the traffic jam, because the jam tracks with me, or something like that know that I'm not too concerned about atm, trying to improve just begun, will hopefully improve with time. Yes, it's easier to improvise with a continuous playback. This is because backing track gives us a frame of reference to play. It provides a "framework" that our can build sets in and provides some "sign" that we use for our solo seem cohesion. When removing the backing track you are playing "exercises" a degree of musicality is missing, no unaccompanied underlying rhythmic structure. This is for the isolation and works well on certain riffs and licks, but really "sing" to your game you have the solo improvisation playback you to supply the connection to the melodic solos. Some good ideas to build your "vocabulary" with simple sentence such as rates and combines them as if a conversation. Use a "question and answer" type of phrasing.
