Ernie Ball volume pedal for pedal steel acceptable?
Are you out of the question of using an Ernie Ball volume pedal pedal steel guitar? I am totally new to the instrument (but not the six-string guitar), and Ernie Ball seems that the cheapest way to go, but everyone out there in the world of pedal steel or Goodrich Hilton says – without mentioning EB. It would be quite wrong for me to use an EB? (I realize that you need a 500k pot pedal steel, or you have to use the effects loop on the amplifier in a pot of 250k, so it's not the point – he could still do with a B).
