Neo-Classical Metal?

I've been trying to practice neo classical shredding video instruction Jeff Loomis, but can only go so far until it plays things that require a 7-string guitar. Mine is just a string of 6. Anyone know any other cool neoclassical shredders are excellent practice of a chain of 6?

This is nothing to do with classical music. The type of music you are referring to is the rock / pop.
