Looking to buy some lower prices for home recording / editing software, any suggestions?
Well here, so the deal. I have a Shure SM57 Voice / instrument microphone. I want to buy a home recording software relatively cheap. I'm thinking of either or Sony ACID Music Studio Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio. I play acoustic and electric guitar and sing too. So I need something powerful multitrack recording capabilities. Also I have a friend who plays keyboard, so you might get some use from it. I'm in the audio sampling and mash-ups to the songs. Therefore, also must have hit some kind of mapping function and the pace and timing of tone. I'm thinking of running it on a laptop, if that makes a difference. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to buy? Or if you know any other software that would be better, do not hesitate to recommend it. I'm relatively new to this, so I could use the help. Oh, and a library of pre-made loops and virtual instruments would sound good. Thanks.
