Questions about acoustic guitars?
okay, this may sound stupid but I need some information about acoustic guitars.
1. what is the difference between steel strings and nylon strings?

Steel strings are used on steel string flat top acoustic guitar. These guitars are used for a wide variety of music including pop, rock, folk, bluegrass, and more. Steel strings have a clear, almost bell-like distinctive tone. The video has a steel string guitar.
Nylon strings are used on classical guitars, which are used almost exclusively for classical music. They have a softer, more muted sound.
That “clip thing” is a capo, specifically a Kyser brand capo. It’s a very useful device for raising the pitch of a guitar to enable you to use a specific set of chord positions while bringing the key of the song into one that you can comfortably sing. It’s not a requirement to have for a beginner but it’s very useful and cheap ($20 or so).
