Can you recommend an acoustic guitar with a fat bass sound and projects well amplified ?…?
… Martin? Taylor? Yamaha? I had a vintage 70 Epiphone repaired and the technician replaced the entire face. It looks great. Sounds like a tin box. I can play in church every week and decided not to extend my instrument. Be heard was not an issue before the repairs. Now, if I touch the strings enough to be heard, it sounds like garbage. So I'm in the market. Martin D40?
but apart from that, the two guitars I've had a close relationship with are a guild (do not know the model – is a dreadnought style body) and Alvarez-Yairi WY-1. the Guild has decent projection, but Alvarez had a sound much richer than he. also has a good domestic harvest and the previous system if you want to enlarge. acoustic sound very good, even amplified. here is the website of Alvarez: http://www.alvarezgtr.com/
