Author: I can describe the latest release from Smooth Jazz sensation Rippingtons for you with just one word … Excellent!
It's a rare day indeed that I a CD of the artists that I can truthfully say does not have a bad track in the crowd. I am more than happy to announce that's exactly what I must have this to say. There simply is not bad in the crowd. No fillers here at all, with each song standing tall on its own.
Black Diamond has a nicely varied, mix of 11 tracks that are very good songs are written by this clearly outstanding artist.
One of the really nice Things about a CD like this is with this level of talent even if Smooth Jazz is not your favorite genre you still can not help but appreciate the size the artist.
Overall, Black Diamond is an outstanding release. Perhaps the best Rippingtons to date. Really sensational from beginning to end. If you slightly in Smooth Jazz music you enjoy this CD.
During all this excellent CD is some of my favorites are track 2, Deep Powder, Track 3 Seven nights in Rome, Track 7, When I owned the world
SmoothLee My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [... as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 4, Soul Seeker. Great song!
